Be Mine Chapter # 1 ( Part 2 )

After a light knock, Moosa's bedroom door was opened, revealing a very beautiful lady in a navy blue dress.

"Any luck?" Asked Moosa and the newcomer shook her head in negative.

"It's no use Moosa, she is too scared to talk to anyone or let them come near to her."

"Her state is understandable. Nats, I think we should take her home."

"And what change it will make."

"Perhaps she would feel better if she met an elderly person."

"...You are relying on Amma-Bi?" Nats asked, sitting beside him.

"Both on Amma-Bi and Yawar. She might see Yawar as those children she spent time with and who knows, being near him would change her perception."

"You think that spoiled kid would do such kind things to her?"

Moosa rolled his eyes and said, "Ms Natasha, aka Nats, I am not the alone culprit for spoiling him. Besides, I believe he is a gentle person."

"We will see." Nats mocked him.

"Consult the doctor, ask him if she is still sleeping with the help of medication and if that is the case, we will be shifting her to our home."

"Sure." Nats nodded and got up.

"Yawar, she is your sister, just like Nats Api." Moosa once again tried to explain the situation.

"She is not like Nats Api and she is not my sister. Why did you even bring her here? We don't need that Kallo (black girl)." Yawar said in a stubborn tone.

"Yawar, don't make fun of a person's features or complexion." Moosa scolded him.

"First she snatched everyone away from me and now you are scolding me because of her."

"It's not because of her, you know that better and besides, no one is snatched from you. Instead, she has become a part of our family."

"She is going to stay here forever?" Yawar's eyes went wide.

"Yes, she is."

"... I am going to talk to Nats Api." With that, Yawar stormed out of Moosa's room, slamming the door as hard as he could.

The tantrum Yawar threw yesterday night was quite unexpected, at least for him. Natasha and Amma-Bi, on the other hand, were easily able to handle him. Bringing the girl to his house turned out to be better than he expected, that girl talked for the first time after meeting Amma-Bi. Shahina was her name, meaning princes or someone who has the quality of a falcon. Moosa smiled, recalling her weak being and the falcon, but at that moment, when he heard it for the first time, he asked himself would he be able to provide a life of princes?

Moosa sighed and dropped his head on the bed. He didn't know about the possessive part of Yawar's personality but they hadn't been together for much time. Yawar came to this house a year ago, he was one of the kids Moosa rescued in his missions. Just like other kids, he was also sent to the orphan from where they were to return to their families but somehow he managed to escape and was accidentally found by Sarmad, who was Moosa's, first-hand man. He brought Yawar to Moosa and on inquiring him again and again he said that he won't be going home without his sister.

Moosa, Sarmad, Natasha and even Amma-Bi tried their best to convince him that they would find his sister so he should go home. But the stubborn Yawar wanted to find her sister by herself. Leaving with no other choice, Moosa locked him in his own house with Amma-Bi and threw a search for his sister. It took more than seven months to find her whereabouts, she was sold out for prostitution eight months ago and died recently because of over usage of drugs.

Yawar was finally settled down in his house and mingled with everyone. Breaking this news to him was hard for Moosa and for some selfish reason he wanted him to stay with them for a little longer. But Natasha insisted that he should know about her death and she told him about his late sister. Natasha kept the real story a secret, he can't have his sister back and telling him about her painful days would only increase his suffering.

Yawar was told that his sister died because of cardiac failure since then he wanted to go home. Yet when the day arrived he refused, he didn't has the courage to face his family. Therefore, he was brought back to Moosa'a house with the promise that he will visit them once he gathered the strength.

Time flies with a blink of an eye, Yawar kept his promise and went to meet his family at the age of fifteen. As expected he handle the situation very well and decided to come back to Moosa and Natasha, according to him, they were his family now. Moosa, who has become MB with the time, Nats Api, Amma-Bi and a girl named Chuhiya, Chipkali (mice, lizard).

On the other hand, Shahina's state also became much better, she was now going school as she should be but her personality was far away from normal girls. The main reason was her past and the other one was Yawar, also known as her 'Boss'.

Yawar has forbidden her from calling him Bhai when they are alone, he was her boss and she was supposed to do everything he said. Bullied and threaten to be thrown out of the house if she told someone, Yawar took full advantage of the poor child. Being a timid person, Shahina obeys his every command silently, whether it was doing his homework, ironing his clothes or taking care of his room.

Others weren't blind to notice all this but remain quiet, they want Shahina to fight for herself and encourage her whenever they get the chance. On the other hand, Yawar became the subject of Moosa's scolding as he grew older, Amma-Bi and Natasha also kept a strict eye at him because of the presence of a young girl in the house but still, he somehow managed to irritate Shahina.

Just like now, when Shahina was busy in the kitchen, which became her favourite place since Amma-Bi is always here and it kept her safe from Boss. Yawar entered the kitchen making sure that no one was around. He leaned against the refrigerator and silently watch her peeling garlic.

"Oye! Chuhiya, chipkali " Yawar said loud enough to made her startle. Shahina jumped in surprise and dropped the garlic from her hand.

"Can't you even hold garlic properly?" Yawar frowned and bent to pick it up.

Taking advantage of the moment, Shahina tried to fly away from the kitchen but he was too quick for her. Yawar abruptly grabbed the corner of her dupatta, leaving Shahina with the only option of stopping. But as soon as she halted, he quickly left her dupatta, didn't want to face Moosa's anger if he saw him grabbing a girl's dupatta, especially Shahina's who was getting more important to him day by day.

"I told you to do my homework, but I found it incomplete. Why?" Yawar narrowed his eyes, coming before her.

Shahina didn't answer, just stand silently with her head down.

"Oye! Answer me." He barked but he made sure his voice wasn't loud.

But again no answer.

"Oye chupkali! Look at here." He snapped his fingers before Shahina's face and she reluctantly raised her head.

"What is this?" He pointed towards the garlic on his other hand.

"Lesson."

"WHAT?" Yawar's eyes widened.

"Lesson." She said timidly and Yawar burst into laughter.

"This is... lesson... and MB thought... you have more brain than me." Yawar said between his laughs and Shahina's head dropped again.

"Uff! It's "Lehsan (garlic)" not "Lesson" idiot." Yawar stood straight peering down at her, taking advantage of his tall height to intimidate her.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Lehson". She mumbled.

"Not Lehson idiot. Leh-San. Repeat after me. Leh-San."

"Lehsan."

"Very good."

"Again tell me what is it?"

"Lehsan." She mumbled again.

"Good. Very good. Now listen carefully chupkali. If you don't tell me why didn't you complete my work, I will stuff this Lehsan (garlic) in your mouth." Yawar said lowering his face to her, but instead of answering him, tears start dripping from Shahina eyes.

"Oye! Why are you crying?" He asked angrily.

"Shahina, did you cut the garlic?" Yawar's ears perked as he heard Amma-Bi's approaching steps.

"I want an apology letter tonight and don't forget to write "I am sorry" five hundred times. Or else I will make you eat all the garlic available in the home." He quickly put the garlic on a shelf and run away.
