Be Mine - Chapter#7

It was Shahina's habit to wake up early before even Fajr time, waking up Amma-Bi for prayer has become her routine.

After that they both did breakfast together and Amma-Bi went back to the kitchen for the preparation of breakfast. It was a rule of Amma-Bi that the meal of each worker of the Main house will be prepared at home.

Therefore each time the cooks have to prepare food for dozens of workers. Shahina used to help Amma-Bi too but since Moosa has built a new kitchen outside the house for it and there were only male cooks working there, she was prohibited by Amma-Bi to go in that kitchen.

Therefore, Shahina gets this time of the morning completely for herself. Today she thought about cleaning her room and throwing out unnecessary stuff.

While doing so she found her old craft box. She used to do craft work during her school holidays. Her school life wasn't a nice experience, because of her personality she wasn't able to mingle with anyone. Thus, no one bothered to acknowledge her existence either, except for two or three teachers.

She put aside all the useless items to throw in the garbage when her eyes landed on another box filled with different shades of glitters and a smile spread on her face, she used to mess up her whole room while using them and sometimes the cleaning lady complained to her about how hard it was to clean this.

For a while she kept staring at those glitters pondering about what to do with it, and then suddenly she got the answer.

The Main House hired two drivers for their work, both of them were middle aged men and in the past they both were field workers of the Black Eagles. On the surface, their job was to be available for the family if they want to go somewhere but in reality most of them don't know what they do.

It was early in the morning and both of them just reached the cabin which was made near the garage for them, when a driver named Bilal saw Shahina coming towards the garage.

"I'll be right back." Bilal said to the other driver and went to her.

"Is something the matter?" Bilal carefully asked Shahina.

"No," Shahina shook her head and continued, "I came to find my scarf brooch, I think I have dropped it in the garage."

"Should I help you?"

"No, I'll be leaving soon." Shahina fidget her fingers, which Bilal noticed and went back to the cabin after giving a nod.

Shahina let out a breath of relief and made her way to Yawar's most precious Hilux. She carefully opens the cap of each glitter bottle. She was about to throw it on the car but stopped suddenly. For a while she stared at the bottle in her and shook her head.

"Don't hold yourself back." A sudden voice came out of nowhere and she jumped in surprise, dropping the glitter bottle from her hand.

Shahina quickly turned around to find a man standing near a car looking at her amusingly and when their eyes met, he said, "You shouldn't stop while doing a good deed."

It was Ahad, Shahina knows him as the second lead of the Black Eagles and Moosa's right man, but they rarely talk to each other and she still doesn't know what kind of person he was. She was startled by his presence and the words came out of his mouth.

But unable to understand what to do next, she just stood in her place. On the other hand Ahad quickly made his way to her and pick one of the bottles from the ground.

"Here, allow me to put my share in it." With that, he threw all the glitter from the bottle on Yawar's car.

Shahina gaped at it and looked at Ahad.

On noticing the signs of fear on Shahina's face, Ahad abruptly said, "Now, run before someone else sees you."

"Sorry!" Shahina blurted grabbing the box of remaining bottles and rushed out of the garage.

"Let the boy be a little more sparkling and besides, he loves to shine." Ahad smirked looking at Yawar's car and leisurely started walking to the house.
