Shahina limited herself to the Main house after running into her sister during sports week in the college, without even knowing that Moosa had ordered both Kinza and Shahina to stay home for a few days. The high command of the Black Eagles was already alert because of the moves Moosa made regarding a certain situation. Therefore, they were extra careful with Shahina's matters.
Moosa especially asked Ahad to look into that woman's identity and confirm whether her meeting with Shahina was a mere coincidence or pre-planned. Furthermore, both Ahad and Moosa decided to remain quiet about it unless Shahina herself didn't bring up the topic, and Owais also didn't tell a soul about it. However, Amma-bi noticed the change in Shahina's behaviour and why wouldn't she? When Shahina spent all day spacing out and doing nothing but some house chores and her daily training. Amma-bi guessed that she was taking off from college because of the sports week, which wasn't her domain of interest, but she stopped going to the library. She asked Shahina multiple times about what was bothering her, yet no response came from her. Therefore, she decided to discuss her concerns with Natasha, but she never got the chance as something else happened that day which none of them had ever dreamed of.
Just before evening Yawar came into the Main House asking Amma-bi to open the guest room instantly. He was in a rush, and with a frown on his forehead, he sprinted back and forth between Moosa's office and his room, continuously engaged on the phone. After a few minutes, a maid informed him that the room was ready. He nodded and inquired about Shahina.
"She is in the guest room right now."
"What is she doing there?" His frown deepened, and without listening to the maid's answer, he rushed towards the guest room. She was indeed there, staring into empty space.
"What are you doing here?" Shahina literally jumped upon hearing his gruff voice, it was the first time she heard this tone of his voice.
Wearing a pair of grey colours trousers with a white t-shirt, fitting well on his body, a bracelet in his left hand and has a firm grip on two mobiles in the right hand. It was as if he just ran out from the gym. But what frightened her was the look on his face. He seems different, a man she doesn't know.
"I asked what are you doing here?" His voice was louder and authoritative this time.
For a moment, her mind didn't register anything, and when it did, she quickly tried to leave the room, but Yawar stopped her by stretching his arm in front of her.
"Listen, I want to remain in your room no matter what happens. Even if someone calls you, don't come out." He stared into her eyes.
"But, Amma-bi..." She quickly averted her gaze.
"I will ask her not to call you out."
Shahina was unable to understand anything, the situation, and the demands this man was making.
"Did I make myself clear?" Here it was again, the same authoritative tone.
Shahina nodded, looking at the floor. Yawar stepped aside, and she almost ran toward her room. Shahina could feel his eyes watching her leave, but she didn't bother to confirm it.
~ * ~
It was near dinner time, and Shahina was still in her room as Yawar ordered. Suddenly, she heard a commotion in the Main House. At first, she thought it was a work-related situation of the Black Eagles, but the noises soon died down, and a strange silence engulfed the whole Main House. It felt somewhat eerie, and after an hour or so, she quietly left the room to look around and grabbed something to eat. She also wanted to meet Amma-bi, but to her luck, a maid came to her holding her dinner tray in her hands before she could reach the stairs to go down to the kitchen.
"Amma-bi said you should not leave the room until tomorrow." The maid conveyed her message.
"I am just going to the living room." Shahina lied, pointing behind the maid, but she shook her head.
Recently, Shahina's room was separated from Amma-bi, and they both shifted to the first floor. There was no other way for her to look around except for the living room. The Main House consisted of three floors, ground plus two, and each floor had a small living room with a staircase leading to the ground floor, providing a clear view of it.
Shahina glanced at the living room and took a deep breath. Something happened, and they don't want her to know the details. Such situations weren't new for her, most of the matters of the Black Eagles were not her concern. However, this strange feeling she had was troubling her, and there was no way to ease her worries.
Dejectedly, she stayed in her room. She thought that Amma-bi would come and tell her the whole situation, but it never happened, and she fell asleep while waiting for her.
